Fruitcake Capitol of the World

After escaping Florida it was on to Brunswick Georgia for one night.   Afterwards on our way to Savannah we visited the Fruitcake Capitol of the World

I'm very proud of this $40 room we scored.  It was a brand new major chain motel and very nice for our budget-minded trip

Out for dinner to the local White Conservative steak place

It was a nice dinner.  More expensive than the hotel room though.

And this is it for Brunswick.  Don't have any photos as we got there late and left early.

Hit Jones Kitchen in Jesup Georgia.  Totally Awesome.....

Mimi has a very soft spot for fruitcake...especially Claxton cakes

Thought we were going to get 50 lbs...but we only picked up 3 fruitcakes

Also visited the competition in town

Haven't tried this one yet but looking forward to it....
